The recipe for the Egyptian Cake, which many say is the best Cake in the world


For 3 thin countertops:

6 egg whites
150 g hazelnuts / ground nuts
6 tablespoons sugar
2 and 1/2 tablespoons flour

For the yolk cream

340 ml milk
10 yolks
3 tablespoons grated flour / cornstarch
10 tablespoons sugar
170 g butter
20 g vanilla sugar
1 vial of vanilla essence

For crunchy cream

130 g chopped hazelnuts / walnuts
200 ml liquid cream
200 g +4 tablespoons caramelized sugar (made as for burnt sugar cream)

For decoration (optional)

hazelnuts / chopped walnuts
whipped cream
pieces of caramelized sugar

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.


The amounts of the 3 tops are given together, but they will bake separately, the ingredients for each part of the dough are: – 2 egg whites – 2 tablespoons sugar – 1/2 teaspoon of flour, – 50 g chopped hazelnuts / nut .

Beat the egg whites well, slowly add the sugar and beat for smoothing. Gradually incorporate the flour and ground hazelnuts / walnuts. Spread on a round tray with a diameter of 20 cm and bake for 25 minutes.

Repeat for each of the 3 countertops.

Whipped cream:

In a medium saucepan, over low heat, continue to mix the yolks, sugar, flour / starch, vanilla sugar and milk until you get a smooth and firm cream. Leave the cream to cool. Beat the butter well and gradually add it, stirring constantly, to the cooled cream.

Crispy cream:

Using a spatula, mix the cream well with the chopped hazelnuts / walnuts and crushed caramelized sugar (not crushed)

Cake mounting:

It is made simple: 1 countertop, 1 layer of yolk cream, 1 layer of crunchy cream. Repeat.

You will be left with some yolk cream, with it you can wallpaper the edges of the cake.

Cake decoration (optional):

For inspiration and taste, you can garnish with cream, extra caramelized sugar, nuts, chopped hazelnuts or even almond flakes.

The simplest and most delicious Apple Cake – You can hardly refuse another slice


5 tablespoons flour
200 g sugar
5 tablespoons oil
vanilla essence
5 eggs
1 sachet of baking powder
500 ml fresh
1 jar of jam, to taste
5 tablespoons sugar
10 apples

Method of preparation:

Caramelize 200 g of sugar in the pan in which we will prepare the cake, but do not burn it too bad because it becomes bitter. Peel an apple, grate it and squeeze the juice. Put the apples in the hot oven for 15 minutes.

Beat the egg whites hard with 5 tablespoons of sugar. Mix the yolks with the oil and vanilla, then pour the cream obtained over the egg whites and mix well.

Add flour mixed with baking powder and sifted. Remove the pan from the oven, pour the composition, then put it back in the oven for 40 minutes.

Let the cake cool for 20 minutes, then turn it over on a plate. After a few hours, garnish it with whipped cream and seasonal fruits or honey.

If we want to decorate it with caramel sauce, here is the recipe:

We need:

1 quarter tablespoon of lemon juice
1 quarter small glass of water
1 plate of granulated sugar
We put them all in a saucepan over low heat and do not mix because this would make the composition crystallize. We just have to shake the pan until it reaches a darker color.

If we want to make a caramel sauce, we have to stop when the melted sugar is just starting to take on color – take the pan off the heat and add the whipped cream. From this moment, pitem use the spoon to mix it. We need to add a little more butter and a tablespoon of vanilla essence and it’s ready.
